In a message issued on Saturday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei praised the unprecedented public turnout at the funeral of the martyred Leader, describing it as a historic display of national unity, loyalty, and Islamic-Iranian identity.

He said the participation of tens of millions of mourners in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and the holy Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala reflected the Iranian nation’s unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and left the country’s enemies astonished.

The message also addressed continued US military aggression against the Islamic Republic, condemning Washington for repeatedly violating the war-ending Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the presidents of the two countries.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said the ongoing attacks have once again exposed the US as an untrustworthy party and warned that any further escalation from the American side would be met with a resolute response from Iran’s Armed Forces and the Resistance Front.

Stressing that national unity remains the country’s foremost priority, he called on both the general public and government officials to reject division, preserve social cohesion, and continue working together to safeguard Iran’s independence and national interests.

While acknowledging that constructive criticism of officials is legitimate and valuable, he emphasized that it must neither undermine national unity nor lead to injustice against innocent individuals.

The message concluded with an expression of gratitude to all those who participated in the recent funeral ceremonies and helped create what he described as a historic national epic.

In another part of his message, the Leader paid tribute to the people of Iraq, expressing profound appreciation for their heartfelt participation in the funeral ceremonies of the martyred Leader.
