In a series of fresh Israeli assaults over the past 24 hours, at least 13 Palestinians have been killed across the besieged Gaza Strip, including five members of the same family.

The family was killed when an Israeli missile struck their apartment in the al-Nasr neighborhood of western Gaza City on Saturday evening. Among those martyred were father Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nisman (42), his wife Marwa Nayef Mohammad Nisman (39), and their three children: Arwa (8), Yahya (17), and Ibrahim (15).

One child survived only because he was not at home during the strike. The attack also injured several other residents inside and around the building.

In other parts of Gaza City, civil defense teams recovered the bodies of two Palestinians from Kashko Street in the Zaytoun neighborhood following overnight Israeli artillery shelling.

Rescue crews had been unable to reach the site earlier due to ongoing bombardment. In the same area, an Israeli artillery strike killed a woman and wounded several others, including her husband.

Medical sources reported additional injuries from an Israeli strike on an apartment in the al-Madina building on Aydiya Street, west of Gaza City. Separately, three more Palestinians were killed when Israeli artillery targeted civilians gathered east of Dawla Junction in Zaytoun.

In Rafah, Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad al-Bardawil was shot dead by Israeli forces in the Al-Furusiyya area. Mohammad Owais succumbed to wounds from an earlier Israeli attack near Al-Shabiya Junction. An Israeli drone also dropped two bombs near the Grand Mosque south of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Over the previous 48 hours, Gaza hospitals received 19 bodies and 60 wounded Palestinians.

Since it violated the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli occupation regime has killed 1,144 Palestinians and wounded 3,703 others in Gaza. More than 800 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble during this period.

Since launching its genocidal war on October 7, 2023, Israel has martyred at least 73,269 Palestinians and injured over 173,811 others in the blockaded territory. Nearly 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.

Despite the supposed ceasefire, Israel persists with its genocidal campaign, openly planning to occupy and control around 70% of the Gaza Strip while forcibly confining the remaining population of nearly two million Palestinians to just 30% of their land.
