7,125 Iranians rescued alive from beneath rubble during US-Israeli aggression: IRSC

Members of Iran's Red Crescent Society are seen working at the scene following a US-Israeli airstrike

The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRSC) has announced that of 7,125 people were pulled out alive from under the rubble during the recent US-Israeli aggression against the country.

Pirhossein Koulivand said on Saturday that the organization's K-9 (canine) search and rescue teams, along with technical detection devices, successfully carried out 1,711 missions across the country.

He added that throughout the war, “we rescued 7,215 people alive from under the rubble and recovered the bodies of all martyrs.”

The Red Crescent chief also noted that 7 million calls were registered from the public, with emergency response teams reaching scenes of strikes in under four minutes.

The United States and Israel launched a joint military aggression against Iran on Feb. 28 by assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, along with senior military commanders.

The enemies deliberately targeted Iran’s civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, killing thousands of Iranian civilians, including some 170 children at an elementary school in Minab on the first day of war.

The facilities constitute critical civilian infrastructure essential to the provision of energy, economic stability, and the welfare of millions of people across the nation.
