For more than a hundred consecutive nights, Iranians have been part of a grassroots campaign called "This Flag Will Not Fall", keeping the national tricolor flying twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Volunteers take turns holding the flag at major intersections and squares refusing to let it fall even during violent storms.
