The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) says the US-Israeli airstrikes have damaged or destroyed more than 115,000 civilian structures across the country over the past five weeks.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the organization said since the US and Israel launched their war on Iran last month, “115,193 civilian units, including 91,498 homes and 22,580 commercial facilities, have suffered severe damage or been completely destroyed.”
In Tehran Province alone, the IRCS said over 44,000 residential buildings and business units were targeted.
At least 736 schools and educational centers have been directly hit and either completely destroyed or severely damaged by the blast wave of the US-Israeli attacks, according to the statement.

More than 300 health and medical facilities have also been hit, in a blatant violation of international laws.
Among them, it said, were at least 18 Red Crescent centers. The attacks have so far killed at least three relief workers and injured 15 others.
The war, which entered its second month, has so far killed more than 2,000 people across the country, including women and children, according to Iran’s health officials.

In response to the US-Israeli military aggression, the country’s Armed Forces have so far delivered a series of strikes on enemy targets, effectively paralyzing the US and Israeli air defense systems across the region.
Iran’s Army reiterated earlier on Wednesday that it will stand firm to the very end to make the aggressors regret the innocent blood they have shed across the country.
