Hamas truce demands

Hamas says it is working to overcome “all obstacles” in pursuit of a ceasefire agreement that reflects the aspirations of the people in Gaza. That, as the second round of talks ends in Egypt. The senior Hamas official also outlined key demands in the ongoing negotiations, including the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the return of displaced residents to their homes. Fawzi Barhoum accused Israel of deliberately seeking to obstruct and thwart the current round of talks, as it had done in the previous rounds. Meanwhile, Qatar, one of the mediators in the truce talks, reiterated that the Israeli regime bears primary responsibility for the continued bombardment and violence in Gaza, making it impossible to speak of progress or setbacks in the negotiations at this time.

Genocide in Gaza

Attacks across Khan Younis in the south have also claimed at least six Palestinians lives. Meanwhile, five airstrikes an one neighborhood resulted in the death of at least three women. Since Friday when Donald Trump called on Israel to halt its bombing campaign, Israeli forces have killed at least 104 people in Gaza. Slamming anti-Iran statement

Iran has condemned interventionist and baseless claims mentioned in a joint statement by the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union. The claims are directed at Iran’s sovereignty over three Persian Gulf islands as well as the country’s peaceful nuclear program and defense capabilities. Foreign ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, reiterated Iran’s absolute and indisputable sovereignty over the islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa. He said, repeating unfounded claims over the islands does not change the geographical and historical realities. Elsewhere in his remarks, Baghaei slammed as unacceptable, the claims mentioned in the joint statement about Iran’s defense capabilities. He denounced some EU states, including France and Germany, for their all-out support for Israel as the only possessor of nuclear weapons in the region. The spokesman expressed regret that members of the GCC have joined Europeans in their hypocritical approach toward the West Asia region.
