IRGC responds to US Aggression

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it has carried out five waves of missile attacks on US bases in the West Asia region in response to the US aggression on the Islamic Republic. The IRGC says US fuel tanks and Patriot missile systems at Ali Al Salem base in Kuwait were destroyed. It also says strategic FPS radar systems at Ahmad al-Jaber base in Kuwait were targeted. The IRGC says in the second wave of its operations, helicopter repair and maintenance systems as well as command and control center of US army drones at Isa Air Base in Bahrain were hit with missiles. It says large missile silos and fuel tanks at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan were destroyed as well. According to the IRGC, new strikes on American bases followed the terrorist US military’s aggression against coastal bases of Iranian armed forces. The US Central Command says it launched strikes early on Monday on dozens of targets in southern Iran.

'Islamabad MOU in crisis'

Iran says the Islamabad memorandum of understanding with the US is without a doubt in crisis, due to the recent moves by Washington. The foreign ministry spokesman says the US QUOTE dismembered the 140 MoU by repeated breaches, despite Iran having acted on its commitments seriously and with good will. Esmaeil Baghaei said in his weekly presser that Iran has only reciprocated the US violations and will continue to do so. The spokesman also rejected as open lying, the US allegation that Iranians agreed with Oman on transit via the Strait of Hormuz and then attacked ships. He said the US pressured Muscat to prevent it from agreeing to a mechanism with Tehran. He warned that Iran will defend its regional rights and will never allow the US and Israel to use the strait to harm Iran.
