Cutting all ties with Israel
The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says elites in the Muslim world have a duty to push their governments to sever ties with Israel. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says enemies are trying to prevent the elite from assuming their growing role in the society in this regard. The Leader said negligence on the part of the elite would result in heavy blows to the nation. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks while meeting with air defense force commanders.
US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
The Israeli bloodshed continues in Gaza as more Palestinians lose their lives in air and artillery strikes. 30 civilians were killed in Israeli shelling in the central city of Deir al-Balah in 24 hours. There was also a drone attack on an area in the center of Gaza City, which claimed the lives of three people. Elsewhere in that city, 4 Palestinians were killed after a residential building was bombed.
Yemen support for Palestine
The United States and Britain have conducted new strikes on Yemen amid escalating tensions in the Red Sea over the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. According to Yemeni sources, the strikes hit the southern province of Hudaydah. It was hours after the Yemeni deputy foreign minister said his country would continue supporting Palestine despite attacks by the US and Britain.
