Iran warns US 

Iranian Armed Forces have seriously warned the United States against attacking the country’s peaceful nuclear facilities, after the US president threatened to hit Iran's nuclear sites. In a statement, Khatam-al-Anbyia Central Headquarters said the criminal US has threatened to attack Iran's nuclear and sensitive sites. It added that if the aggressor and terrorist US army takes such a step, it would lead to the expansion of war to the entire region. The headquarters stressed that in case of an attack on Iran's nuclear sites all interests of the United States, as well as allies and supporters of this rogue state, will become targets for powerful attacks by Iranian Armed Forces. The statement came after Donald Trump threatened that the US will attack an Iranian nuclear facility, known as Pickaxe Mountain, in the central Isfahan province. He said the US will be hitting that area pretty soon and very heavily. Trump has repeatedly threatened to target Pickaxe Mountain, while acknowledging that he has not seen any activity there.

Iran retaliatory operations 

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it has carried out new retaliatory operations in response to US aggression against the country, hitting more American bases in the region. The IRGC said its new operations were part of the 24th phase of Operation Victory-2, which seeks to clear the region from US army’s radar systems. It said during the operations, an early warning radar system, a tactical radar complex near Ali Al Salem air base, and another radar system in Bubiyan Island in Kuwait were hit and destroyed. The new strikes came after earlier in the day the IRGC said it had taken out key US military assets in Kuwait’s Ahmad al-Jaber air base. Among the targets were a ballistic missile early warning system, a missile defense radar system, a long-range solid-state radar system, a Patriot missile defense battery, and a satellite communication system. The IRGC vowed more crushing drone and missile attacks on US military assets in the region. 

Iran military readiness 

The Iranian Army spokesman has dismissed the possibility of a ground invasion of the country, saying enemy forces cannot even approach Iran’s borders.  Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-nia said Iran’s deterrence power now stretches beyond its territory. He said Iranian forces have been ready to handle a possible ground invasion since last June's US-Israeli war of aggression. The spokesman explained that in standoff warfare, which takes place from afar, the enemy relies on its technology and hardware, but on the ground, the battle will be eye-to-eye. General Akrami-nia added that in such a scenario, enemy forces will be more vulnerable because they lose their technological edge and are unfamiliar with the terrain. He stressed that over the past two decades Iranian armed forces have been preparing to engage the US-Israeli enemy, and are currently in such high spirits to carry out their missions at a moment’s notice.
