Yemen Saudi ban
The Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces has announced a maritime navigation ban on Saudi Arabia in response to strikes on Sanaa International Airport a week ago and an ongoing decade-long siege on the Arab country.
Iran retaliatory operations
Iran has carried out simultaneous retaliatory operations on three fronts, destroying US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait in the 23rd wave of Operation Victory-2. In a statement, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said the operations targeted drone maintenance hangars at Al-Sakhir Airport in Bahrain, TF-59 vessel preparation hangars at Salman Port, and support hangars for special naval commando forces at the Arefjan base in Kuwait. The strikes were in retaliation for recent US aggressions. The IRGC also dismissed President Trump's claim that Iran is running out of missiles and drones, warning that if the war lasts several years, Iranian missiles and drones will continue to rain down on American criminals until the very last day of the war. The statement added that Trump's recent remarks once again revealed his ignorance and foolishness. Meanwhile, the Iranian Army spokesman says the war must continue until full deterrence is achieved for the Iranian nation, adding that this approach is grounded in experience and rationality, not excitement or warmongering.
Hamas new leader
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has announced the appointment of Khalil al-Hayya as the head of its Political Bureau. Al-Hayya is a senior Hamas official and a member of the group's leadership council. He has represented Hamas in indirect ceasefire and prisoner exchange negotiations in recent years and has long been regarded as one of the movement's most influential political figures. He will succeed Yahya Sinwar who was killed in Gaza by the Israeli army in October 2024.
