The Israeli military has carried on with its offensives in southern Lebanon, conducting airstrikes, artillery shelling, explosions, sound-bomb attacks, and tree-cutting activities that resulted in several injuries.

According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, Israeli forces shelled the town of Haris, situated in the Bint Jbeil district of the Nabatieh Governorate, on Saturday, causing injuries to an unspecified number of individuals.

Israeli troops also cut down all trees planted along the roadsides in the Bint Jbeil district.

In the early hours of Saturday, Israeli forces launched multiple missiles at neighborhoods in the town of Mansouri, located in the Tyre district of the South Governorate, near the Bayt al-Sayyad farm.

An Israeli drone also dropped two sound bombs in the al-Mashaa neighborhood, located between the towns of Majdal Zoun and Mansouri, while Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in the same vicinity.

Elsewhere on the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya in the Nabatieh district, the Israeli military attacks caused a massive explosion.

Additionally, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while Israeli warplanes conducted bombings in the town of Kfar Tibnit within the same district late on Friday.

The Israeli military asserted it targeted a unit of Hezbollah drone operators in southern Lebanon, but did not provide details regarding the specific site of the strike.

The army said the strike occurred after a drone was detected, which it alleged had been launched close to Israeli forces.

According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, the death toll from the Israeli onslaught on the country has risen to 4,328 people, with 12,227 individuals wounded since March 2.

Israel persists in its military offensives against Lebanon, even after both parties signed a US-sponsored “framework agreement” on June 26. The agreement outlines a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese land, starting with two designated pilot areas.

The assaults also come in the wake of negotiations held in Rome regarding the initiation of an Israeli troop withdrawal from two regions in southern Lebanon.

Israel maintains control over regions in southern Lebanon, with some territories being held for many years, while others were captured during the war of 2023-2024 and the offensive that commenced last March.
