The biggest exodus from Trump supporters has been Americans under 30 years of age. His approval with them was plus three points, but it is now minus 41 points.
His approval among Latinos and African Americans has also plummeted.
In a landslide, the most important issue for voters is the economy. The economic impact of the shutdown has been worse than expected, and while the economy may recover quickly, that doesn't mean major damage hasn't been done in many ways.
