Iran intelligence blow to Israel

Iran has acquired a wealth of strategic and sensitive intelligence from Israel, including thousands of documents on its nuclear plans and facilities. That’s according to intelligence sources. Sources said there was a media blackout due to the sheer volume of documents and the need to safely transport the entire shipment into Iran and make sure that they have reached the intended locations. They say the abundance of documents is such that merely examining them and viewing the images and videos has taken a considerable amount of time. The operation has dealt a significant blow to Israel, exposing a major intelligence failure in safeguarding highly sensitive information. Israel maintains a so-called policy of nuclear opacity but the regime is widely estimated to possess up to 400 nuclear warheads.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

It’s been another deadly day for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, as the Israeli military intensifies its relentless bombardment of the blockaded territory. In one of the deadliest strikes of the day, at least 15 Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building sheltering displaced people in al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of civilians in Jabalia al-Nazla, killing at least eight people. Fatalities were also reported following a separate strike on a Palestinian home in the north. The al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, was also the scene of Israeli attacks, with several people losing their lives. Deadly strikes were also reported in Khan Yunis, in the south, and the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. According to Gaza health officials, nearly 54,800 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023 when the US-Israeli genocidal campaign against Gaza began. More than 125,000 others have also been injured.

Qassam's warning to Israel

The military wing of Hamas has warned that the Israeli military will be to blame for the death of an Israeli captive after regime forces laid siege to the area where he is held in Gaza. The spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades said Israel will not be able to return Israeli soldier, Matan Zangauker, alive. Abu Obeida stressed that resistance forces protected Zangauker for twenty months. A day earlier, the regime forces retrieved the body of a Thai captive from Rafah in southern Gaza. The Israeli army has confirmed that he was captured alive on October 7, 2023. According to al-Qassam, several Israeli captives have been killed in the regime’s airstrikes on Gaza. More than 50 captives are still held in Gaza, 20 them are believed to be alive.
