Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has expressed his appreciation to Sunni clerics in Kurdistan Province for their message of sympathy and support following the martyrdom of the late Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
In a message addressed to the Sunni scholars of Kurdistan on Tuesday, the Leader thanked them for their condolences over the passing of Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, expressing gratitude for their kind sentiments toward him.
“Respected scholars of Kurdistan Province; while appreciating your expression of sympathy and condolences on the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, I also thank you for your kindness toward me,” the message read.
He further prayed for their continued success, asking God to grant them prosperity and support in serving Islam.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was martyred in an American-Israeli terrorist strike on his office on February 28, the first day of the ongoing aggression against Islamic Republic.
Many of his family members, including his daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchild were also martyred.
Iranian armed forces responded by launching barrages of missile and drone strikes against the Israeli regime and US assets across the region.
