US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
It’s been another deadly day for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, as the US-Israeli genocide against the war-ravaged territory rages on unabated. In one of the deadliest attacks, at least seven people were killed after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in Jabalia, northern Gaza. Several people, including a journalist, were also killed in an airstrike in Gaza’s al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood. An airstrike on a tent for displaced people in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, killed one person and injured several others. To the south, an Israeli drone attack claimed the lives of four civilians in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. In Rafah, Israeli forces opened fire at a crowd of starving Palestinians at an aid distribution hub, killing SIX and injuring 15 others. The Israeli artillery fire also targeted multiple areas, leaving several people dead and injured. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 is nearing 54,100, including 221 journalists. More than 123,300 others have been injured.
Israel global isolation
Six-hundred days into the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza, the United Nations Children’s agency has released a shocking report concerning the situation across the war-raved territory. UNICEF says more than 50,000 Palestinian children have been killed or injured in Gaza since October 2023. The agency added that over 13,100 children have been killed since the end of the temporary ceasefire on March 18. It said recent Israeli attacks on Gaza underscore "the exorbitant cost children continue to pay. UNICEF referred to a Palestinian physician couple who lost nine out of their ten children in a recent attack". The agency also cited another attack that killed at least 31 people, including 18 children, when the regime bombed a school sheltering civilians in Gaza City. UNICEF said those children are victims of grave violations, killed, displaced, starved, and left without access to hospitals, schools, or even clean water. The agency said Gaza’s children are enduring the destruction of life itself, adding that what kids now need in the coastal sliver is an immediate ceasefire.
Israel aggression against Yemen
Iran has strongly condemned Israel’s airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport as another sign of the Israeli regime's hostility towards the Muslim people of Yemen and the region.Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, said Israel’s latest attack on the airport, which was carried out during the Hajj season, was aimed at preventing Yemeni pilgrims from participating in the Hajj rituals. He called the regime’s aggression a major crime, urging international organizations, especially the International Civil Aviation Organization, to take immediate and serious action. Referring to Israel’s repeated attacks on Yemen's economic infrastructure and civilian facilities, Baghaei said such attacks were clear examples of war crimes and crimes against humanity. He stressed that the impunity of the Israeli regime due to the UN Security Council’s inaction and unbridled support of the United States, has jeopardized global peace and security in an unprecedented manner, requiring urgent action by the international community.
