Now, fast-food restaurants can make French fries faster and better as a robot called flippy 2 takes over the job. Flippy 2 has been created in a robotic lab in California called Miso after 5 years of efforts by its developers

• On the outskirts of China’s metropolis, Shanghai, a tiny island has been dubbed 'Cat Island' as it provides shelter for stray animals. Since it opened last month, a charity based on the island is taking in cats mainly brought from Shanghai residents.

• A pair of baby panda twins make their debut appearance at the Chongqing Zoo in southwest China, with visitors flocking to cherish the abundance of cuteness.
