NBA: Indiana Pacers 116-124 Los Angeles Lakers

Over latest news from the NBA, the visiting Los Angeles Lakers have come from behind to edge the Indiana Pacers 124 to 116.

To hosts were the better side in the 1st half as they went to their locker room with a 66-60 advantage. But, the 2020 NBA Champions came out firing on all cylinders after the break. They beat the Pacers with a 4-point margin to cut the gap to 2 points at the end of the 3rd quarter.

In a neck and neck battle in the final quarter, The Lakers got the upper hand by a 30-28 win to send the game to overtime. The visitors kept up the momentum to beat the Pacers 12-4 to register their 10th victory of the season. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook combined nearly half of the points for the Lakers by collecting 59 points.

In the meantime, the Brooklyn Nets extended their lead at the top of the eastern conference after trouncing the Celtics 123 to 104 at the TD Garden in Boston.

The Nets delivered a perfect performance as they took a 97-76 advantage at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Celtics showed some resilience in the final quarter by taking it 28-16, but the gap was too large, as Brooklyn earned a 19-point overall victory.

The Nets will next welcome high-flying the Phoenix Suns at Barclays Center on Saturday, whereas the Celtics will travel to San Antonio to meet the Spurs on Friday.
