IOC accepts Olympic Games with no fans

The International Olympic Committee President has expressed deep regret to have no spectators at the upcoming Olympics, as the Summer Games are set to go ahead in 10 days.

Earlier this month, Tokyo Games Organizers decided that the Summer Olympics would take place without spectators as a resurgent coronavirus has forced Japan to declare a state of emergency in the capital that will run throughout the Games. The ban on spectators will also cost organizers hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
