Pressure mounts on Israel to join NPT

The 11th Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, also known as NPT Review Conference 2026, starts on Monday in New York.
Ahead of the conference, Iran has called on the conference to press the Israeli regime to join the NPT and place its clandestine nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards. Our correspondent Dieter Reinisch reports from the UN Headquarters in Vienna.
