NBA: Boston Celtics 127-97 Orlando Magic

Over the NBA, the Celtics have extended their winning streak to 5 matches after devastating the Orlando Magic 124 to 97 at TD Garden in Boston.

The Hosts were the better side from the onset as they took the opener 34 to 28, before taking the next quarter with a 6-point margin that led to their 60 to 48 advantage at the intermission. They kept their flawless performance after the break and managed to take the next 2 quarters and winning the game with a 27-point gap.

The Celtics have now sealed a spot at the top of the Western Conference and will host the New York knicks on Saturday, while the Magic will travel to Brooklyn to meet the Nets at Barclays Center.

In addition, Defending Champions the Los Angeles Lakers bagged another victory after beating the New Orleans Pelicans with a score of 112 to 95 at Staples Center to cement their spot at the top of the Western Conference.

The Pelicans dominated the encounter in the 1st half and went to their locker room with a 58 to 57 lead. But the Lakers clawed their way back and grabbed the next 2 sets that led to their 5th consecutive victory in the season. NBA superstar LeBron James tallied 21 points for the Lakers and on other side, Zion Williamson bagged the same amount of points for the Pelicans.
