In an open training session, 50,000 passionate Boca fans packed into their home venue, to cheer up the players for the last time before this weekend’s clash in River Plate’s ground, since away supporters in Argentina are banned from attending the match.
The 2 giants tied the 1st leg 2-all at Bombonera in Buenos Aires. The decisive 2nd leg takes place this Saturday at River Plate's Monumental stadium.
Boca have won the Libertadores 6 times and River Plate have won it 3 times, but this is the 1st time in the competition's 58-year history that these 2 teams are to meet in the final.
