The Iran men's national deaf soccer team has missed out a place in the final showdown of the fourth edition of Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships in South Korea, after it could not triumph over the hosts in the semi-finals.

In another semi-final match of the day, Japan powered past Thailand 6-1.

The Iran men's national deaf soccer team will face Thailand in the third place play-off on Sunday.

The fourth edition of Asia Pacific Deaf Football Championships kicked off on April 23, and will wrap up on May 7, 2018.
