Iranian footballer Ramin Rezaeian has joined Belgian club Koninklijke Voetbalclub Oostende, also called KV Oostende, which currently plays in the Belgian First Division A.

The 27-year-old right-back finalized a deal with the Ostend-based club on Sunday for a fee of hundreds of thousands of dollars and on a two-year contract after a successful trial period.

Rezaeian started his career with Shahrdari Sari football team in 2002, and left the club for Shensa-ye Tehran six years later.

After just one year at Shensa-ye Tehran, the Iranian soccer player moved to Saba Qom Football Club where he made 98 appearances and scored 7 goals.

Rezaeian signed a three-year with Tehran-based club Rah Ahan in 2013.

He joined red-clad Tehran-based giants Persepolis on June 27, 2015 with a two-year contract. The Iranian player has earlier been on the radar of Turkish Süper Lig club Rizespor, but dismissed the offer.

Due to his strong dribbling, play making, crossing and great speed, Rezaeian was called up to join Iran men’s national football team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
