Handala hacktivists target Israeli Holocaust center, extract classified documents

Activists from the Handala hacking group breached the databases of a so-called Holocaust victims' center and exposed thousands of classified documents and confidential emails on May 31, 2026.

The Handala hacking group says it has targeted the databases of Israel’s so-called National Center for Support of Holocaust Victims and managed to gain access to a large amount of information from the center.

The pro-resistance group said in a statement released on Sunday that all of the center’s databases, classified documents, confidential emails, and sensitive correspondence were extracted in an unprecedented and multi-layered cyber operation.

More than two million documents, with a volume exceeding one terabyte, were also published on the group’s website.

Handala also announced that an examination of these documents shows a connection between some Israeli military industry companies and the center, and their financial support for the organization’s activities.

The hacking group finally addressed Israeli security institutions, highlighting their weaknesses in cyber protection.

It also warned that more cyber operations are underway.
