Iranian intelligence forces have identified and dismantled two terror cells affiliated with the Israeli regime’s Mossad spy agency during separate operations across the country.
The Intelligence Ministry announced in a statement on Sunday that its forces had conducted a counterterrorism operation in the northwestern province of West Azarbaijan and busted a four-strong and Mossad-affiliated terror team.
The terrorists were planning to carry out terrorist attacks against sensitive facilities in the capital, Tehran, and assassinate high-profile Iranian officials. They were, however, nabbed before they could launch an act of terror.
