The IRGC has released a statement saying that 10 foreign intelligence services were involved in the recent riots in Iran. Meanwhile, the UN human rights council has held a meeting on the recent developments in Iran.
During the session, the Iranian envoy slammed the hypocrisy and double standards of certain countries in criticizing the human rights situation in Iran, while they are committing war crimes and systemic violence against their own people.
Iran’s foreign minister has made similar comments, slamming Washington for lecturing Iran on human rights, citing the US’s heavy-handed crackdown on protesters in Minneapolis. That and more on tonight's edition of Spotlight.
