Libyan military chief killed as plane crashes near Ankara

A Libyan military aircraft carrying senior officers has crashed near the Turkish capital Ankara, leaving the army's chief of staff, General Mohammed al‑Haddad and five members of his delegation dead.

Turkish authorities have confirmed the recovery of the black box as investigation is underway.
