Gaza ceasefire violation

Israel has once again violated the Gaza ceasefire, launching new attacks on the Palestinian territory. Regime soldiers opened fire on Palestinians in Bureij refugee camp, killing one person. They have launched airstrikes on the city of Khan Younis. Israel has also demolished more Palestinian homes near the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis. Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health ministry confirmed receiving the bodies of 15 more Palestinians from Israel, raising the total received during the truce to 300. Most of them had signs of torture or death by execution. Since the ceasefire took effect in October, more than 240 people have been killed by the regime and the death toll since the genocidal war began in 2023 has neared 69,170.

Israel's Lebanon strikes

It’s another deadly day in Lebanon where at least three people have been killed in series of Israeli strikes since Saturday morning. In the latest attack, at least one person was killed and four others injured after an Israeli drone struck a car in the town of Baraachit in the country’s south. A separate strike targeted another vehicle in the Beqaa Governorate, leaving at least two dead. Another regime strike targeted a vehicle in Bint Jbeil, a city near the border with occupied Palestine where at least seven people were injured. The attacks are in violation of a ceasefire agreement Israel and Hezbollah reached in November last year. Israeli forces remain deployed across several southern Lebanese regions and continue to carry out regular air raids despite the deal. Israel claims its attacks are aimed at Hezbollah infrastructure. Over 100 civilians have been killed in Lebanon since the ceasefire went into force.

Yemen dismantles spy network

Yemen says it has arrested members of an espionage network affiliated with intelligence services of the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia. The Yemeni Interior Ministry said the operation was carried out in several stages, adding that the headquarters of the spying network was located in the Saudi territory. The ministry said the joint intelligence operations room provided advanced surveillance equipment to carry out espionage activities. It noted that the spy cells monitored Yemeni infrastructure and attempted to uncover the military and security infrastructure, military manufacturing sites, and missile and drone launch sites. It stressed that the network cells were involved in the bloodshed of Yemeni civilians in several operations launched by the American and Israeli military against homes, markets, and public places across the Arab country.
