US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Another deadly day for Palestinians in Gaza as the Israeli military intensifies its attacks across the besieged territory. According to Medical sources, Israeli forces have killed at least 71 Palestinians across Gaza since dawn. Among the dead were several women and a week-old infant. The Gaza health ministry said that regime forces deliberately target power generators to put Gaza’s hospitals out of operation. The overall death toll from the regime’s genocide since October 2023 has now risen above 53,650.

Opening fire on diplomats

Senior European officials demand concrete answers after Israeli troops open fire on a diplomatic delegation in Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. European Union foreign policy chief Kaia Kallas condemned the attack as unacceptable. Irish Foreign Minister Simon Harris expressed shock at gunfire near two Irish envoys. Meanwhile, Spain strongly denounced the attack, saying it is seeking a joint international response. In addition, Italy summoned Israel’s ambassador for clarification, and Belgium rejected Israel’s version, saying the convoy was coordinated and clearly marked. The incident came just after the EU moved to review its core agreement with Israel, citing human rights obligations.

Iran enrichment right

Iran’s foreign minister has reiterated that the country has a clear position regarding uranium enrichment, saying the program will continue with or without a deal with the US. Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is still considering whether to participate in the next round of talks with Washington. He stressed that Iran will confront excessive demands during talks, but remains committed to diplomacy. Araghchi affirmed Iran’s transparency regarding its peaceful nuclear program. He insisted that any talks must also address the removal of sanctions, which he described as unjustly imposed. On Tuesday, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, also dismissed the US demand for zero uranium enrichment as utterly nonsensical. This, in response to Washington's latest stance that even one percent enrichment within Iran’s nuclear program would be unacceptable.
