The invading US-Israeli coalition has targeted a building at Isfahan University of Technology, causing damage as the pair continues to attack civilian sites across Iran.

According to the public relations of the university, the attack occurred early Thursday.

“Unfortunately, the criminal US and usurping Zionist regime (Israel) attacked a building in Isfahan University of Technology in the wee hours of Thursday,” it said.

It added that the attack caused no casualties.

Noting that universities across the country are centers of knowledge, scientific dialogue, and training of next generations, it emphasized that any attack on academic and scientific centers are in violation of international regulations and contravenes humane principles and respect for science.

The university reiterated its resistance in the face of enemies and strongly condemned such violent acts.
It also held the international community accountable for the consequences of attacks by arrogant and criminal powers on the country’s civilian institutions.

On February 28, the United States and Israel attacked Iran. They assassinated Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and a number of high-ranking military officials. The two enemies have also killed hundreds of Iranian civilians in airstrikes on the country. Notable among the martyrs are the more than 160 school children of the southern city of Minab.

Iran’s response to the aggression by the US and the Israeli regime has been decisive and precise. Barrages of missiles and drones have paralyzed the air defenses of the United States in the region. That has compounded Israel’s ability to intercept Iranian missiles pounding the occupied territories.
