US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Death and destruction continue to ravage Gaza as the Israeli military intensifies its relentless attacks across the blockaded territory. In one of the deadliest attacks, at least a dozen Palestinians were killed after Israeli warplanes bombed residential buildings in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. Also in central Gaza, the Israeli strike on a gas station near the Nuseirat refugee camp claimed the lives of at least seven people. In al-Daraj neighborhood, central Gaza City, at least eight people were killed, and several others injured after an Israeli strike targeted a school housing displaced Palestinians. The victims included women and children. The Israeli artillery also shelled a number of areas across Gaza, leaving an unknown number of Palestinians dead and injured. According to Gaza officials, the overall death toll from the regime’s genocide since October 2023 is nearing 53,500. Nearly 121,400 others have been injured.

Yemen supports Palestine

The Yemeni army says it has imposed a new ban on Israel in response to the regime’s escalation of its aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. Saree said the decision is in response to Israel’s continued siege of Gaza, the starvation of Palestinian people and the regime’s refusal to halt its aggression. The military spokesman noted that Yemeni forces have already succeeded in imposing a blockade on the port of Umm al-Rashrash, also known as Eilat, and bringing it to a standstill. He said the Yemeni forces will not hesitate to take additional measures in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance. The Yemeni official stressed that his country’s anti-Israel measures will come to an end once the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

Iran remembers Raeisi

Iran marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of late President Ebrahim Raeisi, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash alongside late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. The helicopter carrying President Raeisi and his delegation went down due to bad weather in northwestern Iran. President Raeisi and his team were returning from a joint ceremony with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to inaugurate a dam on the Aras River bordering the two countries. Following the tragedy, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, declared five days of national mourning. Millions of Iranians held nationwide rallies and farewell ceremonies to pay their respects to the late president. Ebrahim Raeisi was a steadfast advocate for social justice, and he was deeply committed to serving the Iranian nation. Raeisi’s policies in support of the Axis of Resistance had made him popular among the people of the region as well.
