Paris Olympics: Iran's Yazdani eyes second gold, books spot in freestyle 86kg finals
Hassan Yazdani beat his opponent M N Amine from San Marino in the men's freestyle 86kg semifinals to cruise into finals. He will face Magomed Ramazanov of Bulgaria in the gold medal match on Friday.
Iranian freestyle wrestler Yazdani delivered a dominant performance in the 86 kg weight class at the Paris 2024 Olympic freestyle wrestling tournament, securing a 10-0 victory over Alexander Lawrence of Australia to advance to the quarterfinals.
In his second match, Yazdani continued his impressive run by defeating Greece's Dauren Khalidovich Kurugliev with a 9-4 victory, earning his place in the semifinals.
