Rafah's killing fields

Apartheid Israel has already killed more than 28,000 Palestinians inside Gaza and wounded nearly 70,000 men, women and children since October last year, but Tel Aviv's genocidal intentions remain unquenched.

The intensification of the attacks on the southern Gaza city of Rafah -- an area that was supposed to be a "safe zone" for the 1.4 million Palestinians who have bunkered down there -- have killed dozens in the past 24 hours, but the picture is only getting worse. Global leaders from Britain's Foreign Secretary David Cameron to the EU's top diplomat Josef Borrell all plead for calm and for Israel to show restraint, but to no avail.
