Forty-three years ago today, the Iranian Air Force conducted its largest military operation against Iraq’s war machine. That operation turned the Baathist forces' dream of conquering Tehran in a matter of days into a bitter nightmare. A gathering was held in Tehran on Saturday to mark the anniversary of this operation. Farzaneh Ashoorioun has more.
