He added, the decline has now accelerated, calling on the Islamic world to use this great opportunity. Ayatollah Khamenei also called on Islamic countries to support the Palestinian people, saying the issue of Palestine is one of the most fundamental issues in the Islamic world. The leader made the remarks in a meeting with ambassadors of Islamic countries to Tehran on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Earlier, he called on Muslims to maintain unity to foil different plots aimed at dividing them.
