Braving the bone-chilling weather, these mourners are remembering those who gave their lives for the future of this region and beyond.

These people have gathered here to pay tribute to martyrs who fell in the war against US-backed Takfiri terrorist groups in the region.

General Qassem Soleimani was remembered as a hero for humanity, who transcended geographical and ethnic boundaries and whose campaign against the Daesh terrorist group saved every Muslim and non-Muslim country, including Pakistan.

Speakers at the gathering shed light on different dimensions of Martyr Soleimani’s life and his legacy as well as how it impacted the region.

Some 70,000 Pakistani citizens have been killed at the hands of US-backed Takfiri terrorists, including in attacks on schools and children. These were the same terrorists that General Soleimani took out in an anti-terror campaign for which he will always be remembered.
