US supports Israel apartheid

The United States rejects the view that Israel's actions towards the Palestinians constitute apartheid. The spokesperson for the US State Department says they have never used such terminology. Ned Price referred to the Israeli regime as the world's only Jewish state, saying Jews must not be denied their right to self-determination. The remarks come after an International rights group accused Israel of apartheid for its treatment of Palestinians. The claim also prompted an angry response from Tel Aviv, which has denounced the report as anti-Semitic. Meanwhile, Iran has condemned Israel for following racist, expansionist policies. Tehran says Israel remains as the only apartheid regime in the world despite outstanding calls from the international community to stop its violations f Palestinian rights.

US black colleges threatened

At least a dozen historically Black colleges and universities in the United States received threats of mass shootings and bomb attacks. The threats in cities from Baltimore to New Orleans has forced authorities to enforce campus lockdowns. This coincides with the first day of the US Black History Month. On Monday, a wave of similar threats forced the cancellation of classes at other schools. The White House says it takes these threats QUOTE- incredibly seriously, but that they still don’t know what has motivated the threats. Last year, the US intelligence services warned that racially motivated violent extremists, such as white supremacists, would seek to carry out mass-casualty attacks in the country.
