FIFA Futsal World Cup: Brazil thrash Vietnam 9-1 in Group D opener
In the FIFA Futsal World Cup, Brazil have got their campaign off to a marvelous start with a 9-1 thrashing of Vietnam in Group D.
Brazil raced to a 3-nil lead within seven minutes thanks to Rodrigo’s opener and a brace by Ferraro.
Vietnam pulled one back in the 14th minute, when Khong Dinh Hung fired a cool shot into the net.
The 5-time world champions immediately responded through Dieguinho before Pito made it 5-1.
Ferrao completed his hat-trick just seconds after the break with his 4th coming in the 25th minute before goals from Dieguinho and Leonardo pushed the gap to 9-1.
