Tokyo Olympics: Iran's Geraei wins Greco-Roman 67-kg gold

Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler, Mohammadreza Geraei, has clinched the gold medal in the men's 67kg category at the Tokyo Olympics. 

25 year-old Geraei, overpowered Ukraine’s Parviz Nasibov 9-1 in the final to snatch the gold.

This is the second gold medal for the Iranian delegation. The first one was gained by Javad Foroughi in men's shooting.

The 5-member team of Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestling, headed by Mohammad Bana, finished the event with one gold and one bronze.

Geraei’s gold enhanced Iran’s ranking in the medals table, as they sit 28th in the table, with two golds and one bronze.
