The US has several times vowed that it would end the war on Afghanistan; however, a full withdrawal of American troops has never materialized. This time President Joe Biden is pledging again that the country is set to end its longest war in history by September 11.
This is not the first time that Biden is making such a promise and since former President George W. Bush launched the war in 2001, all American leaders have announced a soon-to-happen full withdrawal.
