'US claim of keeping carrier in Persian Gulf over Iran threats meant for domestic audience'

David Yaghoubian, a California State University Professor, believes the outgoing US administration's repetition of alleged threats from Iran being the reason for its continued naval presence in the Persian Gulf is meant for domestic audience in the final days of President Donald Trump at the White House.
