2019 European Volleyball C'Ship: France 3-0 Italy
To volleyball news, France have secured a spot in the semifinals of the 2019 European Volleyball Championship after defeating Italy in straight sets.
The Frenchmen managed to outscore Italy 25-16 in the opening set. The Italians regrouped in the 2nd set, but it was not enough and Les Blues finished it 27-25 in their favour. The 2015 European Champions overpowered their opponents in the 3rd set and dismantled the Italians 25-14. Meanwhile, in another match at the same event, Serbia beat Ukraine in a 5-set thriller and are also through to the semifinals.
