'Baby Trump' balloon flies for vice president's California visit

A giant inflatable caricature balloon of US President Donald Trump wearing diaper, dubbed 'Baby Trump' was installed at Park Boulevard in San Diego on Thursday, opposite the Hilton Bayfront hotel where US Vice President Mike Pence is expected to stay the night.

Activists from the organisation Backbone were seen blowing up the balloon and placing it strategically facing the hotel to send their message "Trump you've got to go, you've got to go," according to activist Ray Lutz.

A sound system was also installed at the protest with the protesters making speeches for over two hours demanding Trump's impeachment and denouncing his immigration policies as well as blaming Trump for "misbehaving" as a little child with his usage of Twitter to communicate with the world.

'Baby Trump' balloon first made its appearance on the international stage during protests in London against Trump's 2018 official visit to the UK.
