Iran slams Trump's meddling

Reactions from Iran’s top officials are mounting as they hit back at the US President’s meddlesome remarks on protests in Iran. The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has warned Donald Trump that any US interference in Iran’s domestic affairs will throw the entire region into chaos, endangering the US interests in West Asia. Ali Larijani said the American people should know that it was Trump who began adventurism. He also drew a distinction between people protesting over economic woes and those who vandalize under the pretext of protests. A political advisor to the leader of the Islamic Revolution has also slammed Trump for his controversial comments. Ali Shamkhani stressed that Iran’s national security is a red line. Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said reviewing the long record of American politicians’ actions proves that the US has no sympathy for the Iranian nation.

Israel Gaza violations

Although the Gaza ceasefire agreement has brought a respite to Israeli bombardment of Gaza, it has not fully stopped the regime’s military from launching attacks in the Palestinian territory. Nasser Medical Complex confirms that a young Palestinian was killed and several others were injured by Israeli fire in western Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. That increases to three the number of bodies received by Gaza hospitals in a matter of 24 hours. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery fire targeted the vicinity of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. The Palestinian Health Ministry has said that the number of people killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire took effect has increased to 416. And the death toll from the genocidal war since October 2023 has risen above 71,200.

Saudi Arabia strikes Yemen

At least seven people have been killed in Saudi airstrikes targeting southern Yemen. Saudi warplanes launched multiple strikes against forces of the Southern Transitional Council, a group backed by the United Arab Emirates, in Hadramout province. The attacks come amid fierce clashes between Saudi-backed “Deraa al-Watan” units and the UAE-aligned STC. Both sides are reported to have used medium and heavy weapons, intensifying tensions in this strategic southern region. The confrontation follows last month’s advances by the STC when the group seized an oil-rich area. The move heightened friction between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. In response, Saudi Arabia demanded that the UAE withdraw its forces from Yemen within 24 hours and halt all military and financial support to local factions.
