Tariffs hurting businesses in both China, US: Commentator
Political commentator Ryan Dawson says both the US and China are losing as a result of the trade war and need face-saving measures and a third party to resolve their dispute.
"Putting tariffs on China has just resulted [in] tariffs in the United States and has hurt the living standards and businesses in both countries," Dawson added.
The United States and China have reportedly reached a tentative truce in their trade dispute before the two sides’ leaders meet on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in the Japanese city of Osaka on Saturday.
