Iran loses to Sweden in 2018 Men's Beach Handball World Championships
The Iran men's national beach handball team has lost to Sweden in the quarterfinal round of the 2018 Men's Beach Handball World Championships in Russia.
On Friday, the Iranian team, which had swept Vietnam 2-0 (15-14 and 18-10) the previous day, lost to the Swedish outfit in straight sets (1-18 and16-18) at the Beach Sports Complex in the western Russian city of Kazan.
The Iran men's national beach handball team will take on Spain in a semifinal fixture on Saturday.
The 2018 Men's Beach Handball World Championships started on July 24, and will close on July 29, 2018.
