Iranian judoka Shojaei pockets bronze in Asian Cadet & Junior Championships

Iranian judoka Abolfazl Shojaei has featured acceptable athletic skills at the 12th Asian Cadet & 19th Asian Junior Judo Championships in Lebanon, and managed to get a bronze medal at the continental sporting event.

Shojaei defeated compatriot Amirhossein Cheragh Farkhan in his last minus 90-kilogram weight class contest at the indoor Ghazir Club Court, located just a few kilometers north of the Lebanese capital city of Beirut, and stood on the third podium.

The 12th Asian Cadet & 19th Asian Junior Judo Championships kicked off on May 9 and will wrap up on May 13, 2018.

The competitions have attracted dozens of male and female practitioners from 20 countries, including Afghanistan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
