Female Iranian tennis player Mishkat al-Zahra Safi has exhibited impressive performances at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Asia 14 & Under Development Championships 2018 – Division 2, and ranked first at the continental sports event.

On Saturday, Safi took on Maria Bardi from Lebanon at the Phu Tho Tennis Club in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and served a number of good aces, which her opponent eventually crumbled under. Safi downed the Lebanese tennis player 6-3 at the end of the first set.

The Iranian sportswoman remained in cruise control as the match went into the second set, and unleashed several serves that helped her better the fixture.

Bardi decided to give up the match as Safi was 3-0 ahead.
