UN envoy heads to North Korea amid US, South Korea drills

A high-level United Nations official is visiting North Korea as the US and South Korea continue military exercises. China opposes the drills and supports the UN efforts to generate dialogue. Several protests have taken place in South Korea in opposition to the US-led air force maneuvers; with some analysts suggesting the US foments tension to sell more weapons.
