Millions embark on annual march of Arba’een in Iraq

Millions of Shia Muslims are taking part in one of the largest peaceful gatherings on the planet, the Arba'een march between the two holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. According to reports coming from Baghdad, participants from over 60 countries have been granted visas to attend the multi-million-man march, which commemorates the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, the third Shia Imam in the 7th century.
